Our Story

In August of 2012 Josh and Courtney met at a party thanks to his brother, Dan, and her best friend, Gabriella. In December of 2012, Josh decided to make their relationship official and asked Courtney to be his girlfriend. Three years later, after building a strong relationship between one another, Josh popped the question on September 2nd 2015. They are currently living together in their house in Escondido, California with their two dogs, Prada and Midori, their cat, Tesla, and chameleon, Scooter. Josh has a Bachelors Degree in Criminology and Justice Studies and is currently working as a Captain for TowBoatU.S. San Diego. Courtney is in the process of achieving her Bachelors Degree in Accounting while working full time as an Accountant and Bookkeeper for her Family’s Company.

Meet the Maids

  • Hannah Butler
    aka: Banana
    Hannah is Courtney’s Maid of Honor and little sister. Hannah and Courtney are very close to one another and enjoy having ‘sister time’ at Applebee’s for happy hour. Hannah is the loving mother of her two horses, Sierra and Sapphire. She enjoys long trail rides and Mikes Hard Lemonades. She will be graduating a quarter early at Cal Poly Pomona majoring in Pre Vet/ Animal Science. Hannah has always wanted to be a veterinarian since before she could pronounce the word. Hopefully she will be attending vet school in the fall of 2016, until then, she will be working as a vet tech to gain more experience.
  • Gabriella Gaglianni
    aka: Sexy Cupcake Bear
    Gabby and Courtney became best friends on New Years Eve of 2010/2011 and have been inseparable ever since. Gabby is one of the reasons why this wedding is happening because she dragged Courtney to a party three years ago where Courtney had first met Josh. Gabby is the loving mother to her cat Milo and the godmother to Josh and Courtney’s dogs, Prada and Midori. Gabriella enjoys large margaritas from Cabo Cantina and long walks around Europe. Gabriella has graduated UCSD with a degree in Psychology and is now working as an applied behavior analyst for children who are on the Autism spectrum.
  • Jessica D’Elena Tweed
    aka: Ica
    Jessica is Josh’s sister and Courtney’s soon to be sister in law. Jessica helped raised Josh since he was a tiny screaming baby. Despite all the tormenting Josh had put her through, she somehow still loves him 😉 Jessica enjoys glasses of Champagne and floating around the pool. She is a loving wife to her very lucky husband, Michael, and a caring mother to her dog Lola, and kitty, Bowie. Jessica has her Master’s in Graphic Design from the California Institute of the Arts and is the Creative Director at Piston.
  • Lauren Gilmore
    aka: LG
    Lauren is one of Josh’s best female friends, and now Courtney’s as well. Josh and Lauren were in the same first grade class together in 1998 and that is where the friendship began. Lauren is the reason there are documented photos of Josh and Courtney’s engagement, due to her willingness to hide in the bushes to photograph the moment that he purposed. Lauren enjoys Irish Mules and quiet nights in, Crocheting/Playing board games. She is the loving mother to her min pin Bella, aka: Dagget and has been working as a full time nanny for the past 7 years.

Greet the Groomsmen

  • Andrew Nidzieko
    aka: Andy
    Andy is Josh’s middle brother and Best Man in the wedding. Andy is the only brother that Josh actually shared a room with growing up. He is a caring husband to his wife Annie, and a great father to his English bulldog Jack. He has a degree from Cal State Long Beach in Graphic Design, which has led to many talents including making this very webpage that you are reading. Andy is a beer fanatic, and enjoys brewing his own creations. Along with brewing his own beer, Andy also enjoys trips to the desert and driving the jeep that him and Dan have built together over the past 7 years.
  • Daniel Nidzieko
    aka: Dan
    Dan is Josh’s oldest brother and two-wheel mentor. Much of Josh’s mountain bike and dirt biking skills have stemmed from watching Dan and copying the movement, or taking his input about it and hoping for the best. Much like Andy and Josh, Dan would also prefer spending time in the desert driving jeeps or riding motorcycles with his brothers. He is a journeyman plumber for the industrial plumbing company, A.O. Reed and over the years has become a very skilled self-taught fabricator. The Fabrication skills not only help him at work but he was able to build the front end of his an Andy’s jeep in a way that no one had done before. In his free time Dan enjoys tinkering on the jeep, or any fabrication project, and an ice-cold beer to go with it.
  • Evan Bray
    aka: Evan
    Evan is perhaps Josh’s oldest friend, being that both his mom and Josh’s mom were best friends prior to their birth. This made for many childhood experiences between the both of them, from spending weekends in the desert to riding bikes around town all day. Of course that lead to a few mishaps, as it would with any set of boys growing up. One day while sword fighting with two sticks, Josh poked Evan in the eye and subsequently won the game. Despite nearly causing him to go blind in one eye, they have remained best friends to this day. Evan is the supervisor of Club Barona at Barona Casino in Ramona, and enjoys protein shakes and long runs on the treadmill.
  • Logan Holsapple
    aka: Logie
    Logan is another one of Josh’s long time friends. Logan has basically been adopted as part of the family. The friendship started in Boyscouts and has continued through many different stages. Logan and Josh were on the same downhill mountain bike team, which led to many weekends traveling together with their families. As with Josh and his two brothers, Logan would rather spend every weekend in the desert riding his dirtbike, than doing anything else. Logan works at National Powersports Auction where he analyzes the conditions of the products being brought in for auction. Logan is the father of two fur baby kittens named Izzy and Callie, and enjoys a cold beer and anything motorcycle related.
